Thoughts on this horse?

He doesn't sound like he is a nag for a competent novice. First I would need to know how competent your mate is!!! Then have a really good honest chat with the owner, who seems to be looking for a competitive rider, see what level they want?
 
i agree with Mik- i think that they are after a more competitive home- i've got a horse for loan atm and if i had wanted novices then i would have phrased the advert to attract novices...i think the best thing would be to ring them but be clear what you mean by 'competent novice'...in my head i would take that to be can ride the trickier ones in a riding school... sorry if that offends (not meant to! :eek:)
 
I know the horse and used to ride him and work for the lady. Nice horse but definately not suitable for a competant novice as is quite sharp. PM me if you want to know anything else!
