I am in the market for a new Welsh Section D, but am a novice at buying having bought my current guy after having him on loan for a year first and him being my first horse! jsut wondered what thoughts were on this guy? He is registerd and has Maesmynach breeding similar to my current horse. Apprently he is cheap due to slight weaving (my horse weaves too, so not bothered!) Thanks for any thoughts.

looks really nice, could have potential, its obviously not a novice ride and would need a lot of bringing on, so as long as you are up to that, he looks great! good price too! have you been to look at him? if hes what you are looking for and passes the vetting definately go for it!

yup, he will be taking my very own personal vetting if i like him!

i have ridden plenty of youngsters in the past and having owned a cheeky Welsh for the past 6.5yrs i think i know what i'm letting myself in for! Also have a very good instructor who can help me with the naughty moments if need be. I am looking for my next dressage star, so want something young with potential to go to at least Medium and to do some SJing and low level one day eventing. Not really into showing, so not bothered if he's not the typiest Welsh in the world and is a bit on the tall side.

I'm just finding out a bit more about it, then will hopefully go and see him.

I like him, he looks nice and sounds like he has a nice temperament which is the main thing. Reasonable price as well. As you said not the typiest D in the world but if you dont want to show who cares. After all the things you achieved with your previous cob I am sure you could bring him on. Good luck if you get him
