OK, well these are the pics and the blurb!
Height: 16 hh
Age: 10 yrs
Sex: Mare
Breed: Warmblood
Colour: Coloured
Category: All Rounder
Price: £2950 OVNO
Super Riding Club/ weekend rider horse. This super mare has competed up to British Novice level SJ with a novice rider, and has been cubbing and Xc, hacks alone or in company. Very easy in and out of the stable, and easy to take away to shows. Lives in or out, on her own or with friends. Wasted at the moment so looking for a nice family home to take her out to shows. She will not pass a vetting as she has some scaring in one eye but her vision is NORMAL. This can only be seen by a vet, and we have had an expert from the Animal Health Trust to look at it, ( To you or I the eye looks perfect.) This is the only reason this mare is so cheap and does not stop her doing anything.

Does that horse have a disproportionally big head and neck, or do you think it is the camera angle?

I have known a few cases of horses failing vettings with a 'standard' vet due to eye abnormalities, then be certified OK by a specialist. I can recommend an opthalmologist, Dr David Williams at Cambridge uni for a second opinion. Am very tempted myself, I've always wanted a coloured!

I think she has a good length of rein, made to appear bigger by the fact that the top of her neck is white.

Would have to get it properly checked out obvously, but we are in an area where there are specialist vets aplenty!!

yes she does seem to have a huge head and a very strange neck
. Mind you, for the job she does she doesnt need to be stunning.

DEFFO worth a look. I know of horses who hunt/event with one eye, so as long as it is not degenerative to the point that it will blur vision or give a black spot I think she will be fine.
