I personally LOVE the look of this stallion! My only concern s his dam line, having had a lot of experience with his dam's half sister who was by The Outlaw as she was probably the most talented and best produced horse I have ever met but brought new meaning to the word sharp. Would have cleaned up eventing or indeed at anything if she would have only set her mind to it. From all accounts though this boy and indeed his dam are absolutely lovely and I am very tempted to use him myself next year.
really loved the two foals by him at the futurity. He himself is a really neat little horse. Saw his dam at HofE and she is a lovely stamp too. Waiting to see how he does at his SHB grading as if he grades with him will be tempted to use him on my big mare
Wait to see how trainable he is first. We used The Outlaw who was a beautiful horse but his stock did seem tricky to train, so I would be concerned about the dams line.
The more I see of him the more I like him. I really liked the 2 foals by him at the futurity. Fleetwater Opposition has thrown a lot of talented stock. The only reservations I have is the dam was unproven and the trainability of stock by her sire The Outlaw as I don't know of any that have excelled in competition. On saying that I'd consider using him.
Future Sports Horses website says the dam had an injury as a weaner, which is why she wasn't competed, and isn't Lawlight Alliance, who completed Burghley this year, one of his?
