I have a 15.2 14 year old mare with no breeding!!! She was given to me as a 7 year old who had done nothing - she's a pretty little girl and I did trace her mum down - a dales pony!!!! Now I know her dad must have been something special because she has the most amazing jump and attitude to work and even tho I'm over 50 she has taken me BE90 and has won Stafford BE90 & done BE100 with double clears for a younger lady - she just loves jumping but sadly she's not a dressage star - she can perform nicely but is a little stressy waiting for her favourite bits!!!! Would it be wrong to consider breeding fom her ??? Take a peek at my photos please xx

Noone can stop you breeding from whatever you like and provided you are prepared to keep the foal if you dont have a buyer lined up then go and enjoy the process! Brilliant horses come in all shapes and sizes and I have been thinking recently that actually we need a few more horses with "cold blood" influences than all these performance horses, many of which are only suitable for very experienced riders. Yours may be ideal - talented and sane with any luck!
