I’ve had my mare since a 4 year old and she’s now 10, competed at Advanced Medium.
I was training a few months ago when she went heavy on my right rein. She wasn’t lame. Following this we had stopping and rearing which developed. She’s had physio where she had sore Facets and SI. This has now been treated with steroid injections for the SI, back & neck. She’s sound on a flexion test. The stopping and rearing has now gone but she’s still stiff down the right side, and struggling to bend right through her body.
I’m not sure if I'm missing something. Prior to this, we have trained up the levels with no issues and she was a lovely horse to train, forward thinking and always tried hard.
The vet is checking her in a few weeks to see how she is but not sure what the issue maybe.
