Hi i have various niggling issues re a young Welsh Cob i have, who inspite of these is going very well but just as his owner i feel he is not right and was then shown an article on the effects of threadworms in horses just recently and a few alarm bells started ringing and was just wondering if any one else has issues which have been traced to threadworms? Some of symptoms seen, headshaking not the regular compulsive headshaker type, very touchy round withers, touchy to mount sometimes, itches mid neck sometimes quite determinedly although not a sweet itch sufferer, body shakes when riding him amongst other things, itches like mad when takes bridle off, checked bridle for rough pieces etc, had saddle, back, teeth etc done on several occasions!! Going down various avenues to try and help him as obviously something is bothering him but not sure exactly what as of yet.
