Three horses killed, possibly poisoned, in Great Shelford, Cambs

Awful for the owner but how bizarre. To inject poison must be planned and how much of whatever was used would be needed? In as much as how long would the animal have to be held to inject it?

I'm a bit puzzled. The article states that the horses died between 26/11/16 & 04/12/16. Does that mean they were attacked on separate occasions or does it mean that's how long it took them to die?
Whatever it means it's absolutely horrific. There are some sick people out there

I thought this too but then wondered if they were found alive and then died?? Either way, it's tragic.

Maybe they dont know when they died between those dates. Its odd its took this time to be publicised! Really need to know the whole story before getting carried away!

Well this is what concerned me. Slightly different I know but I've seen more than one story in the paper about stock that has been stolen from fields between two dates quite a way apart which makes me wonder how often these people check their animals

“Post mortem results show brain and deep tissue haemorrhaging on their right sides. They were found on their left.”

This wouldn't suggest poisoning. It wouldn't affect just one side of their bodies - maybe one horse freakishly but not all 3.

I wonder if they were standing by something metal that may have been struck by lightning. That would make more sense than poisoning.
