I have three horses, two of which are best friends and the other who is bullied by both. Apart from keeping her seperate from them I don't know what else to do. She isn't happy being kept on her own but my other two are pretty nasty to her so I can't keep her in with them any longer. They are kept in a decent sized field with enough food so it isn't a hunger thing. Anyone else had this problem?

when I introduced my young mare to my other horse and his pal, the friend chased her endlessly. It took about 6 months for him to stop lunging at her when she came close. time helped, but also putting her and him alone together so they had to be friends helped too. Can you give her a few weeks with one and then a few weeks with the other so they have to get on?

My pony is a wimp (the mini shetlands walk all over him) and gets picked on in the field by a rather boisterous 2yo.

It's a pain but I have had to put him in a seperate field - the two occasions he has been out with the 2yo have ended up with him being injured and out of action for a week so can't keep risking it.

Good suggestion about putting her in with them seperately or perhaps get a companion for her - mini shetlands rule
