I followed the recommendations from HHO and ordered some channel rib pocket tights on 20th Jan 2012.
I paid in full by Paypal.
Nothing happened, so a week later I tried to call them, left a message on ansaphone, nothing.
Messaged them on their website, and the next day got a message that the breeches were coming from the US and would be 12-14 days.

Fast forward to today and I have suddenly realised it is EIGHT WEEKS since I ordered and paid for the breeches :(
Not a dicky bird from them to explain, further delay, etc.
Anyone else any experiences with them>?
Luckily I live only 30 miles from them (if necessary).

V disappointed......I have phoned and messaged and am hoping for a reply. Fortunately I paid by Paypal but am hoping not to have to ask them to go after my money (I'd rather, despite the lengthy delay, have the breeches!)

Surely this isn't normal?

Not necessarily defending them, but it can take AGES to get stuff from the states.
I buy a lot of jeans etc direct from western riding suppliers, although will probably stop because they now charge VAT on the shipping as well as the item :( and the most recent pair took three weeks to ship before being held for another week at customs even after I had paid the VAT. These were jeans that were actually in stock at the supplier, and a single order, so I imagine if they were part of a bigger order and possibly not in stock it could take even longer. But they should definitely have got in touch with you if the order was delayed. Call or email and nag!

That is annoying...and eight weeks is really pushing things! I ordered some jods from them and they arrived the next day, but I guess they were in stock. Hope you get it sorted soon!

I bought and sent back some breeches that didn't fit me and months later I got another pair in the post unordered and had to sort it out and send them back, so my experience of them is a bit odd. I don't think they should have sold you stuff they don't have in stock though, certainly not to have charged your card when they were shipping in from the US.

I've ordered from them this week and the checkout process does say whether the product is in stock or has to be ordered in from the USA. Mine was marked as instock and the status says despatched so hopefully on route. Will keep you posted as i'm so darn excited about trying them after some awful DH ones that i recently tried (stretch material my a$$ - I couldn't get my leg up on a chair let alone over my 17hh monster lol)

kaiko, you'll love them, they are mega-stretchy (i'm sitting here in a pair now).

i rang Three Lows ages ago to order a couple of pairs, after trying to order online and everything i wanted was 'out of stock'. i wanted either (or both) of two styles, in any of the dark colours, i wasn't being fussy. the lady i spoke to couldn't tell me what she had in stock, said there was a big order in transit to her but she didn't know what was in it, or when it would arrive... was generally so confused and confusing that i ordered direct instead and got exactly what i wanted very quickly! so, must admit i'd recommend that until Three Lows is a bit more organised!

I wanted to order some, but am waiting for them to get the new styles stock for this year. I asked in January and was told they would be on the website shortly and available from March, but so far they haven't updated the styles/colours on there. She did say that only certain colours were in stock of the styles currently on the website too. Hopefully they will update the stock/ website soon! :)

I ordered jods from them about 2 months ago and they were delivered quickly, I had no probs with them at all. I'd definately buy from them again. I've bought another pair since but through Ebay (from USA) purely because they were cheaper at that time.

Shame you've not had the same good experience I had. Have you written them a letter? The jods themselves are super comfy, I love mine.

I used to get my kerrits jodhs from a lady who had an online shop called khazan. I used to find the same problem, you would have to wait ages for them if they were waiting on a shipment, but she used to call or write to you ro tell you so you had the option to pay later. Unfortunately I think they are closed though. Love kerrits jodhs though, they are amazing!

Just got home and mine have arrived and OMG their awesome. Fit like my running tights, so unrestricted!!!! I'm in heaven. I got the flow rise performance to start at te cheap end but going on line to order more tonight!!!!! Total convert :D, thanks Kerilli, it was ur posts that convinced me to try them after numerous problems fitting jods......so happy heehee

Sorry to resurrect this thread!!

Kerilli, I have pm'd you but in case you don't see it, can you please tell me who you ordered direct from(I'm assuming in the US?) as I can't seem to find international postage any cheaper than something silly like £75?

Thank you :)

Jnb, on phone so easier to reply on board than by PM!
I order direct from kerrits.com, shipping wasn't ridiculous, ever, but you do have to run the gauntlet of the Import Duty Lottery... Sometimes zero, sometimes silly. Maybe email them to ask if they can put the value on in £ not $, as I ran afoul of this on a US packet (not from Kerrits) a month ago, Import Duty was higher than value of item, eeek.
If Three Lows are more organised by now then at least you won't have to worry about Import Duty...!

Following recommendation on here I ordered some direct from kerrits and they came really quickly! Lovely but actually i should have ordered a smaller size so if anyone wants the large full seat thick winter ones, pm me as otherwise they will be going on eBay so I can then buy a smaller pair :)

jnb, i hope you see this. I just checked with Kerrits and they replied:
Mary

flat rate priority international is $23.95 for a small package which we should be able to fit two pairs of tights / breeches in. If we have to go to a medium box it is going to go up to between $50- $60 depending on the weight.

I guess I could do a group order and then send them on to people if anyone wanted.
Kelpie, what colour did you get? I might know someone who'd want them.

I've kinda gambled and ordered from Active Equestrian, $17.95 for international postage - fingers crossed!!
I paid by Paypal so.......?

Kerilli, they're the tan colour..... would be great if you know someone interested :) (and in the meantime I've ordered myself some more - this time medium sized, so hoping they will fit better!)
