A friend invited me to bring Toby and Flyn pigeon shooting this afternoon and its the first time we have been
Various people were standing around an extremely large acreage of woodland to keep the birds moving and we drove around and changed positions a lot ourselves - although turns out we should have stayed where we were!
Anyway, neither Toby nor Flyn have really picked a pigeon before but they acted like old pros
At the end, when it was practically dark, we were searching for ages for two birds and had almost given up hope when Toby found one and Flyn found the other - I was chuffed to bits
They worked so hard but thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They are both now collapsed in front of the fire!
I took my camera because I took Ginge with me too - so here's a few but my camera is rubbish in poor light!
