Thunderbrook 'Condition & Compete'

Guess not!

So, to risk it or not?

I don't use it, but I know someone that uses the base mix for her horses. 2 yearlings and her riding mare, all barefoot, all lovely feet and lovely poos :)

Hmm... I emailed the company asking for more details, but haven't had a reply yet. I'll post it on here when/if it comes.

I'm a bit wary about the sunflower hearts etc - not something I have experience of feeding to horses. Don't want to risk feeding it without knowing the precise sugar & starch contents, either.

I know lots of bare footers who feed the base mix. They wouldn't feed it if it contained lots of rubbish and sugar or starch so you can be sure that it is good stuff if you are willing to take my word for it. I would like to feed it but can't justify the price Since my combination of fast fibre and linseed works so well for my fussy mare.

Isn't that just sunflower seeds which I know people feed for coats and feet in a similar way to Linseed. In fact just looked and between the Hemp, Linseed, Sunflower and Pumpkin Seeds there are alot of seeds high in various omega oils and calories.
