How were your horses after the storm last night?

For those of you that have them out 24/7 how do they get on? Mine has a field shelter but not altogether sure if he used it. Would love to have a secret cam to video him and see what exactly he does when thunder and lightening strikes?

Was worrying about him all night and couldn't wait for this morning to go check him. Guess we worry for nothing as he was happy as Larry grazing away this morning :D

TBH, I didn't even know there was one! Slept though it like a log. My Mother heard and saw it though, said it was really bad. We even had a power cut! All 6 of our mares were in last night (come in at night 24/7 all year), but our gelding was out. He was fine this morning, chilled and eating, however he had dropped quite a bit of weight (not a bad thing, he's too fat, & on a diet). Sunny seemed quite sleepy this morning, she was probably box-walking & worrying last night, so has worn herself out.

I don't think our boy used the field shelter though, looking at his full haynet.

I didn't hear thunder but there was a lot of lightening. There are a lot of very sloppy poos in the paddock this morning though!

I certainly heard it! Woke me up around 12:00 then I couldn't get back to sleep 😐 my horse was fine, she is stabled at night and stable was no worse than normal. The horse that live out were also fine, they don't have field shelters just trees to shelter under.
