If I am feeding Thomas 1 scoop crushed oats, 1 scoop bran, 1scoop alfa a, 1 washing powder scoop cooked linseed and a teaspoon limestone flour, will it be ok to add a cup of sunflower seeds ? If so which ones do i get and which ones do I avoid ? I have never heard of feeding sunflower seeds before and i would like to give it a go. What do you think ????

not tia but thought i would post

black sunflower seeds are what you want, i would imagine it would be ok with what you feed.
i give my big lad 1 mug per feed & my little 'un 1/2 a mug per feed

Where do i get them from and how big are the bags? Oh yes and have they got shells on them ??

i get a 12.5kg bag for about £7, i got mine from my feed store,they sell bird feeds so really anywhere that sells bird feed in big bags will have them.

no problems,i had no trouble getting mine to eat them & they are really working.
