Tick Removal

Hi,
Our Shettie has a tick with no body (I know, he does'nt do things by halves) stuck near his sheath. Stuck lots of vaseline on yesterday hoping it would just fall off but it hasn't

Anyone have any ideas on how to get the thing out?

Fingernails or tweezers

Frontline dabbed on with a straw or a bit of cotton wool. Mine had one on his sheath and he wasn't going to let me touch it, so dabbed it with the end of the tube you get inside a bottle with a spray top. Worked a treat, tick dead and gone within 12hrs
