Went long reining with Donovan tonight, we have a track that goes through the farmland, so not on the road. We started off, he was a bit fresh, but we just kept going. We went to the top of the track, about half a mile, and we were there. My most favorite place on the farm, that I used to take Benson. its at the top of a hill, looking down on the countryside, just the odd car going along the horizon, the sun setting, and I told Donovan all about Benson. i told him he was his big brother, that was watching us standing in his place, and he would be standing next to us. The veiws were amazing, and Donovan just let me shed a tear into his mane, then he lookeed at me as though to say, 'U ok mum?' and we went back home. it was a lovely moment.
but happy at the same time
