I'm wondering if Helen Weeks' account of her adventures on Hardington Moor indicate she is suffering from an acute form of 'Ticket Inspector Syndrome'. Sufferers are more commonly to be found posing as uniformed officials on the public transport system. This would explain her apparent delusions that people require a permit to be on the moor and also that she has authority to demand to see the general public's travel documents. If approached on the moor by a woman saying 'tickets please!' people should politely but firmly ignore her. If they do show her a permit she would probably declare that a supersaver is not valid at peak time and attempt to charge them the full adult single fare for their journey.
