Had my first ever tick today on my lower leg , at the ripe old age of 35 arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets hope I am not one of the unlucky ones who gets sick! x

Oh nooo!!
I'm off for 2 training days in Yorkshire learning how to work with wild animals and ticks for my 3rd year project at uni next week - apparently its "likely" we'll get bitten!!

I have had several and my poor cats in Germany would be covered in them. I did get one in Georgia, USA and did get bloods tested as there are so many nasty things over there but it was clear! Hopefully you should be fine! I was surpassed when my mare had one under her chin last year as I have never seen one on a horse before even though I grew up in the New Forest!

Yikes I hope you don't!!!!!! It's pretty unlikely to get infected, but there was a girl on my vet nurse course who had lymes, not alot I can do about it, its happened, so fingers crossed x
