I heard this yesterday, its really bad news and terrible bad luck, your right about PN he is having terrible luck this season. Tidal Bay will be 13yrs old next year and his options will be limited I would imagine, cant help thinking if he had been with Paul at the start of his career who knows what he would have achieved. He certainly has been a revelation this year and winning that race in Ireland was just spine tingling exciting.

His win in the lexus was fantastic, I didn't think he would get there until a few meters before the line.
Depending on the festival i reckon Henderson will get the title this year, especially if the festival goes better for him than Nicholls. With Al Ferof, Big Bucks AND Tidal Bay out he has lost out on festival wins and prize money! Nicholls has the gold cup edge with silviniaco conti though, but then there's bobs worth and if sprinter sacre doesn't win the queen mother without a decent reason ill eat my horses' feed.
