Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on what is 'Tide' below the knee? I had a judges comment today & I have no idea what it means - even google didn't want to help! Any ideas??

Ok - googling now - should I be worried? He did say only 'slightly...'!

It is the end of a showing career but there is no reason the horse won't carry on and give you plenty of fun as a pleasure horse.

If you are very concerned let your vet have a look.

I wouldn't stop showing at local level if you enjoy it lots of horses have some fault ie dishing and still do well at local shows
If your horse has always been sound then I wouldn't worry too much. Maybe have a word with your vet next time he/she is there

I wouldnt worry too much about it it is one persons view on one day. If all judges feel this is the case it is just a problem in proper showing.
Is it obvious to you

My first horse was tied in below the knee she worked to twenty three as others had said it's a conformational fault so it's a no no in a high level show horse but if you loved the horse before you where told its still the same horse now just get on and have fun.
