One of my horses, Otto, had Tildren treatment after tearing the cartillage in his hock, as a six year old. He is now twelve, and remains lame. The Tildren seems to have prevented the joints from fusing, as they can in spavin problems over time. My vet still considers using Tildren has prevented his condition from worsening, but I beg to differ! We had to obtain a licence to use the drug, it was before the trials had started. I wouldn't use it again, I would opt to have the bones surgically fused.
In conversation with my own physio, he suggested that the claims made in regard to human treatments (using the same drug) are sadly lacking truth. He doesn't think it's any good either.
