I dropped my horse off this morning at the veterinary clinic for his second Tildren infusion and he settled really well eating his net and gazing out of the window and never even gave me a backwards glance, so I left him to it and drove off to work. That was at 8.30am. I had a phone call at 11am to say all had gone well and Bailey was back in his stable gazing out of the window and stuffing his face. Sounds just like my boy!!
I must admit I was a little concerned before the vet rang as he is a bit of a colic prone horse and a side effect of Tildren is colic so it was such a relief to get a phone call to say he was alright. I'm leaving work a bit earlier to go and pick him up and I can't wait to see him. He can't be ridden for two days and has to have light work for five days after but fortunately he can go out in the field tommorow which really helps with the colic situation. The vet says he has greatly improved since starting the Tildren and joint injection treatment and he is very pleased with him. Thank you to Ed my vet and Corner House Veterinary Clinic for their brilliant care.
