Well sort of - it was a dressage style test - prelim"kiri" to be precise - and admitantly only walk and trot and unjudged, though kiri said 65% would have been a fair mark on the "kiri score sheet"
Anyways, took madam in the school today to have a little play on the longreins as she is getting the hang of it really well now so decided to have a change of enviroment.
Had a play around, getting her listening, for about 10mins and then kiri called out a modified version of prelim 7 (canters became trots and some trots became walk and "shapes" were kept very big!).
Tilly was an angel and very funny - the sand makes her really pick her legs up and she was showing off to the 2 geldings over the fence and moving beautifully for the lazy donkey that she is - nothing wow but it was lovely to watch and very nice for her. Came away with the biggest grin on my face as she behaved perfectly and listened and worked really well. She didn't even spook at my hysterical running technique!
Funniest moment was quite possibly as we left the arena - the exit has a little lip of about 8" - still on the longreins she broke into trot 2 strides away and put in a lovely but enormous jump over the lip and I nearly went flying
