Not my usual dog but she has settled in very well, she is about 4yrs old and has no doggy manners at all and she is very rude. Im so proud of my Dobes who have been jumped on and squished but have just retaliated by telling her off, no biting at all. No Pip in the photo because it was hard getting them all to sit down as it was Tillie plays very rough and we had to watch her with Pip very carefully, never mind Aunty Darcy was on the case to supervise. We have Tillie for a month and I think it will be a long one.
Tilly is lovely and such a sweetie, she loves people but had been attacked by other dogs in the past so we didnt know what she was like with other dogs. So the introductions were done singly in the field all dogs on leads lots of parallel walking. Darcy was left to last and she can kick off with dogs with that sort of face but she was a star and we walked backed in together side by side. Now they lie on the sofa together and are the best of friends.
Well donr to you DG, not many people open their home to foster dogs let alone sbt's (esp when they have other dogs) you genrally just get point bank "oh no I could not possibly do that, I have dogs". But you never know till you give it a go, and even more so when it means you know have 3 bitches lol, poor Diesel but seriously she is one lucky little staffy, good on you for taking time to intergrate her and give her a chance. She is a cute little girl (very well made).
She is gorgeous )) we have a new foster dog as last one went off to her new home. Ours is a jrt thou. He bit his last foster lady so he had to go. Tilly is beautiful, you gotta love the staffies
Tilly says thank you for all the lovely compliments and she never stops smiling.
MM I will do a separate post for Pip in the week including pics with one of her in her pjs
Diamonddogs thank you about the Dobes, they are lovely with fantastic temperments and I must post some up to date pics of them.
Cayla Im doing it for a month, not like you who always has a house full of strange dogs. I dont know how you do it Im very lucky with my dogs being so well tempered and its good experience for them as well. Considering Darcy was fear reactive and dosnt like Boxers,Mastiffs & Staffys she has been brilliant.
Copperpot sounds like your JR is going to be a handful, good luck and keep us updated.
