Agreed. I think "horses for courses" applies - he's an ideas & technology guy as opposed to someone with an eye for detail. And I know only too well, proof reading your own copy is not as easy as doing someone else's!
Sjarmette had been sold well before HOYS but Stuart kept the ride there. Tim took her abroad soon afterwards - picked up a minor prize in Liege. Super mare - though don't know how much scope she has. Hope the partnership works out.
Completely random comment coming here but what are those stirrups he is using in the majority of his competing pictures. Look rather fancy only have one side? For safety pruposes?

A lot of the top SJ'ers use them now....they have a special clip in the sole of the boot that attaches to the stirrup iron to keep the foot and iron together. They release quickly in the case of a fall though

Cheers Rambo. Sounds like a clever design - I guessed you would need something to secure your foot otherwise it might go out the side door so to speak.
Think that those stirrups are Prestige if you are interested, some people love em others loath, i'm part of the loath clique if you want to know!- don't like being attached and felt very unbalanced!-sorry totally off topic hehe
