After months of fun & frustration my boys leaving on Monday :(

Just to update you guys, I received some bad advise when purchasing my horse & brought home a trailer full of trouble! I'm pretty sure I've had every trick in the book thrown at me from rearing to bucking, to bolting back to the field when leading him etc. Despite all this I was totally besotted by him, much to the horror of the other liveries! However after he threw my friend onto a road I had to make the decision I had been dreading- parting company.

He is going away to be professionally schooled & hopefully be matched up to a new owner who likes to have more 'fun' then I am capable of! Even though I know its best for both of us there is still a selfish part of me that wants to keep him. Isn't it amazing how attached we get to our horsey friends?

So I am practically 'horseless' as of Monday! I forgot what 'non-horsey' people do in their spare time. How boring to spend the night watching TV when you could be down at the yard coming up with more inventive ideas to get flyspray on your terrified horse! Man I miss him already *sigh*

Enjoying a rub

Aww, exactly what happend to me.You know when it's the right thing to do though.
I am horseless too, come hang with me :D

You know when it's the right thing to do though.

I know it is the right time, its just so sad :( I thought I would have a lot more time with him but obviously we are not meant to be. I'm just hoping he goes to a home where they love him as much as I do. In the meantime its back to searching the internet/papers everyday for a new baby, hopefully the next one will be with me longer. *Fingers crossed*

So sorry for you, but at least you are doing the right thing for you both! I hope you find something more suitable than you can have fun on in the future.

big hugs xxx
