Time Wasters

I drove for 3 hours on Saturday to look at a lorry. It was absolute rubbish and I was very angry. Basically the bloke told a load of lies and I was so disappointed. Why can't people tell the truth when they are selling something ?

However I do agree with you, Mum sold a pony to a lady and when mum rang for delivery details the woman confirmed she had no money

Dont talk to me about time wasters, ive had a very nice 4 yo hunter mare in the H&H last week, and only phone calls from people asking stupid questions. Then one woman who I thought sounded nice and very interested phoned me on 2 seperate occasions for 1 hr each session asked loads of questions said she was coming last Wed to view, then never turned up!! I was furious, but to be honest she was only coming from York area so could of been with us in an hour ish to see the mare instead choose to waste 2 hrs of my time on the phone. She is a genuine horse, I even offered for the woman to come and watch her out hunting.

Know exactly what you mean am looking for a towing vehicle and I asked if the cambelt had been changed on a relatively high mileage but clean vehicle to be told it was a chain, alarmed I checked with a main dealer to be told it was an 80's engine in a newer car! (Someone paid £1700 for it!).

Another I asked all the questions got good answers and then did a txt check to find it had been a Category C write off!! £3 well spent though I was mad at that!

Some sellers I asked simple questions of and they refused to take the time to answer them so I walked away. Now I'm going to buy one with a full service History from a dealer with an RAC check! I'll pay more but it's worth it!

Also on the other end this year with a nice filly that I thought was a good deal, she had won and placed in hand and graded and advertised as a competition prospect, to be told that's way more than the budget the buyer had in mind!! I was very polite in my reply but I hope she couldn't read between the lines!! The filly sold a week or two later.

Must be that some out there are bored of looking at houses for sale and walking round B&Q at weekends!!!
