I really need to rant.
I went to see a lorry that I really liked on Easter Saturday so we agreed that we would go ahead with a mechanic's inspection and buy it for the full asking price if it passed, nothing complicated there.
Since then we have been waiting for parts and repairs so that it would be ready for a mechanic's inspection. Many phone calls and texts later they assured me that I could have it inspected at the end of the week. So, giving them six days notice I booked the mechanic to inspect it at a cost of £229.
I get home today to find a message on the answerphone saying that it will be having its MOT tomorrow morning at 11. How is it supposed to be being inspected by the RAC and have its MOT at the same time?
I'm not made of money! I'm certainly not paying out for another inspection.
