It is positioned on the inside of her back leg at the top (below her udders). I noticed it probably about 2 weeks ago. It hasn't grown in size. It is a bit hard and the area around it is soft/normal. Has anyone seen this before? Do you think I should leave it and only call the vet if it increases in size??

Any comments appreciated x

Leave it and see if it gets bigger. Could be just a bite but equally it could be a wart - daren't say the S word. As I said if it changes then I would speak to the vet as if it is a 'S' the sooner it is treated the better.

Agree with the others. I wouldnt worry about it as it could have been there years. Just keep your eye on it and if it changes or gets bigger than Id get the vet to have a look.

Keep an eye on it, if it changes or grows at all then get a vet to check it. Could be a fly bite but might be a sarcoid.

Toto had a sarcoid on his hindquarter, got a vet out who prescribed bloodroot ointment and then it began to shrink, eventually it dropped off and hasn't come back

Yeah I saw it and thought possible sarcoid. Look out for any bleeding around the area - it is a sign of them.
They can be treated, for example with liverpool cream, the more expensive treatment you use the less likely they are to come back.
So long as it doesn't grow/bleed/weep just ask your vet to have a look at it next time he comes down for vaccs of whatever.

Thank you all for your comments. She is dues for vaccs anytime now which has come in handy so I'll ask the vet to have a peak whilst he is out.

Fingers crossed it isnt a sarcoid but I shall keep you updated.
