4.In Spain certain colours of horses are more desirable than others. Now inn Spain black, dun and chestnut are very fashionable, the breeders will be asking an extra 3 or 4 thousand Euros just because the horse has the colour that's in. Remember just because it more money doesn't mean it is better!!!!!!!!!!

It's exactly the same in the UK, the US and everywhere else I expect  It doesn't take a genius to understand that sought after colours will be at a premium.

Yes in most countries you can expect to pay a bit more for a unusual colour.
How ever do you know the reason why that is the case in spain? Because it is not the same reasons the uk or canada has.

Could I make a suggestion? This is a forum, where people get together to discuss their horses and ask questions. I think that you need to rethink your approach. Rather then posting rather patronising 'tips', that few people seem to be very interested in reading - maybe you should try joining in the real time conversations that are taking place here - day and night. I reckon you'd have a more enjoyable time.

Yes, I do, I breed PREs and there are several people already on the forum who own them.

Black has ALWAYS been popular, chestnut is prized because it was not allowed into the stud book until around 2001 when they changed the rules to allow any colour except coloured. Buckskin and Dun have always been allowed, as have the creams and pearls but their rarity makes them expensive. Because the red gene is now allowed, we are starting to see palomino too, they are megabucks.

I have to wonder why you are putting these 'tips' up tbh, yes, people can get conned in Spain, but then I think they should support their British breeders anyway.

Gah! You lot are horrible. If you don't want to read Jenna's posts, don't click on them

Actually - my intention was not to be horrible, but to suggest that there was a way that she would find the forum a more enjoyable place to be - by interacting with all the lovely people on here.

Thanks for the words. I must be touching nerves. I beleave prevention is better than the cure, and i do chat to people about the problems they are having.
I can not stand people and horses having a bad time because they were ripped off. They are going to love the rest of my posts. Lol never mind.

I don't know about touching nerves to be honest, more like behaving strangely! With such non specific titles as 'tip 2', 'tip 3' etc (oh and where was tip 1?) How do you even know you're going to reach anybody who might actually want your advice?

FWIW I found your posts rather patronising too.

So you dont plan to interact at all -just talk at people! Nice! Forget I tried to explain how to fit in here, and post away.

Or maybe the OP's first language is not English, hence the not perfect spelling and the 'different' approach to posting?? Doesn't bother me either way..people choose to post, others choose to read and others may or may not post in response...tolerance, people!
