where my mares saddle hadn't fitted (lower at back) my pelvis/hips had come down with it and to compensate i'd brought my shoulders back, ergo riding with an arched back.
that issue with saddle is being addressed however now(as lately pointed out) i ride everything with an arched back. to sit straight i have to suck my tummy in but then it feels like my shoulders are too far forward and that i am tipping forward...often i realise i've arched my back again and sitting correctly (with a straight back!) causes it to ache profusely.
any tips for re-learning to sit with my back straight and get out of the habit of arching my back when i ride
any help appreciated
