as title really..

i have my test on Thursday afternoon (got 6hrs training before hand) and wondered what tips those of you that have taken the test have please!

thanks :)

don't fret about it - it's not as bad as you think, especially if you've been driving a while already.

take your time on the reversing and the unhithc/hitch-up - it's your technique they want to see not the speed with which you complete them.

try to talk to the examiner - helps to ettle your nerves!

thanks :D

i passed my normal test over 12yrs ago and have been towing my horse on L plates for the last 6 months, my reversing is quite good according to my Dad..

hopefully i haven't picked up too many bad habits over the last 12/13yrs!

i re-read the highway code just to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything obvious. I also had a few short lessons in the run up to the test, and the instructor picked me up on the position of my hands on the wheel, and my use of/timing of indicators but nothing serious, Id been driving about 8 years I think.
