Tips for getting yellow tinge out of white tails

I have just washed my horse in prep for our show sunday and he is white however i can never seem to get the yellow tinge at the end of his tail white i have used blue shampoos rinses, purple shampoos scrubbed but nothing. Also he gets yellow tinge on his knees hocks and withers. Please help

vanish stain remover works great on grey's tails. i mix it in hot water and just dunk the ends in, leave for 30 secs or so then rinse, or rinse and repeat if it's really bad

You can't buy blue bags any more more's the pity. If it's just the tail hair and not on any skin you could try net curtain whitener if it's bad. I usually find Fly Away shampoos best for greys.

biological washing powder - dip tail in bucket of hot water and powder and swirl around 'til white - rinse very well.

I am going to try this on my grey horse today, but will it bleach the part of her tail that is actually grey rather than white/stained yellow?
