Blue has hogged himself
His once flowing locks are none existant and the top of his tail looks like a bog brush.
He definately doesn't have sweet itch, vet thinks he started scratching, caused a scab which itched so the cycle started. I got him a fly rug anyway, thinking he wouldn't be able to scratch as much with it on but he trashed it in two days - big holes and rips up the mane area
Vet suggested anti-hystamines, said he would need 40 to 60 of them PER DAY :O
Any ideas on how I can break this cycle? If he wants a short spikey mane it is ok by me, but it is the health aspect that means he has to stop - one day I am sure he will get a scab infected.
Help!
