Tips for SHINY tack??

Can anyone recommend a spray/soap/balsam/conditioner/ANYTHING to make take shiny?

I can get mine very clean but it never really 'shines'.

When I did more showing I had two sets of tack, one for every day which was soaped and soft and not shiny, and a bridle for shows which was never soaped, went on for the class and came straight off again. The show set was polished with shoe polish and you could virtually see your face in it I have perfected the spit and polish technique, but that finish would not stand up to every day use.

Spit on your saddle soap - it works every time

shoe polish as normal then buff with a pair of tights, or even better, jewellers cloth

Lidl do a clear shoe polish with sponge applicator, gives tack a lovely shine, without being slippery.

Try Urad, makes it very shiny but you only need a tiny amount.
