I've always just used a human one, usually whatever I have to hand. I buy the sensitive skin stuff for me so the boy used to have that on his schnozzle and seemed to do the job just fine. That or a kid's range works well too. Kept his pink muzzle nice and protected.
My boy had a habit of stuffing his nose into the water trough straight after I'd applied it so I ended up sticking with a waterproof one, lasted ages! Can't believe how lovely and sunny it is, and the weekend looks great too...yay!
I use the kids factor 50 one and I buy a thick one so it stays on his nose , his heels are fine that stays on well but with his nose he just wipes it off on the horse next to him , have to apply 2 times and that usually does the trick !
Sudocrem is great as a sun block. It sticks much better than any other sun cream I have tried on my cobs pink nose. She rubs other sun creams off and I only have to apply every other day. This is the best tip I have had from this forum
Not heard about sudocreme before but always have it around will give it a go. I was wondering how often people apply sun block so thanks all for the info. Looks as if might need it on Monday.
Another vote for Sudocrem here. Will be slapping it on tomorrow along with a fly rug.
Mad, summer has just suddenly appeared this week, and everyone is flapping about trying to get prepared. Think we thought winter would never end...!
