Anybody got any tips to help a new horse settle into his new home?
He is still only young so not expecting him to adapt straight away just want to make the process less stressful for him and get him back to the more laid back horse I viewed.
The stable is his safety net at the moment and he settled reallllyyyy quick in there (talking about half hour in and he was fine!) and is an absolute diamond in there. But the big wide world is a scary but VERY exciting place. We have had all sorts of acrobatics and pretty dancing trots this morning while 'walking' him in hand around, all nice to look at, but not while i am attached by a lunge line! He can not be turned out until Tomorrow, but hoping that will help clear his excitement and settle him more. If we make it to the field that is!!
But any tips would be fantastic
