Please if anyone knows who the owner/connections of the foal tied to railings in Tipton is can you PM me in total confidence ( I appreciate there may be fear of reprisals). Thank you.

The message going round on facebook is

FOAL IN TIPTON DESPERATE FOR HELP NOW> Please if you are local, get to this mite before it is too late. Can ANYONE here help this poor foal? Please. If I was closer and I had a box I'd be there in a heartbeat. Please dont let him die :( The little colt foal of 4 months has been chained to a railing and is covered with snow at Upper Church Street behind an empty council house in Tipton for several days and is dying. Kind people have put a rug on him, but he is refusing to eat and will be dead by morning.

The RSPCA have said they're on their way but I don't think anyone is holding their breath.
There are people there with him now, and a lady ready to go and get him if she needs to but they are waiting to see what RSPCA do.

Think papers were contacted, and the local radio so that'll be making RSPCA move hopefully!

Re what's said on Facebook - who the hell stole him back after he'd be moved to a back garden and re-tied him to the railings? WTF????:eek:

yeah thats the bit that worried me, ive only just found out about this and dont know the full story, any ideas who posted in the first place and where the currant info is coming from.

The people who own him stole him back presumably!

The lady who runs that facebook group does it for any horses she hears about neeidng help, she's in contact with people who are there with the foal atm.

he is only 15 minutes from me but Tipton is not a nice area to be in after dark an d i am a nervous young lady driver. Not sure i have the courage to drive over and help :(

No, the RSPCA said they were going, but that was ages ago so apparently not!
Press were spoken to but only on the phone I think, the only people there with him are some ladies who can't take him anywhere.

There's no shame in thinking that way PMP... The area where my husband was raised is certainly NOT one that I'd care to drive around at night and on my own - and I'm not the wussy type... Sweetheart of a man that he is, he'd be pretty handy to send over and help remove the poor foal if we were closer... ;)

If you can't know you're safe and take company...don't do it... Frustrating though it must be...

*hugs*
