Just got Jerry home from the place where I have been house sitting, and is so good to be home!

Had such a productive weekend though, he has come so far in just 4 days, I am so chuffed with him.

He is now happy in walk trot and canter on both reins, his canter transistions are really improving (considering I had only cantered him once before we went!) we even had a little pop over a cross pole, as I thought it would be safer to try it first in an enclosed space, with a soft landing! lol but he was fine, jumped it quite big but not silly bless him.

Parents both came over today and filmed him for me, so will upload the videos tomorrow.

Am wondering how much to push him, as he is taking everything in his stride, and there is a lesson in a few weeks time for babys, which I thought I might take him to, but dont want to rush him, what do you think?

Sorry this is a very indulgent post, but am so happy with my horse!

Awwwww thats lovely to hear, you really have found a fantastic horse! I don't think the lesson will be pushing him too far at all. It will be good for him to see others and get experience and also give you some advice, tips, etc and most importantly to have a great time
