Tissington Trail

I'm thinking of taking D to ride along the Tissington trail on Saturday. Does anyone know if you can get a horsebox into the car park?

The 4Shires hunted up that way at the weekend and Im not sure if the meet was in that car park or where... may have been...and if it was I would assume a box could get in?

Nope, not personally but know someone with a yard up that way and tis very nice ride

I've ridden this trail. its a nice easy flat easy to do ride. ENJOY.

I've done it on a pushbike and from what I can remember,(was about 8yrs ago) , the carpark was quite big , there were lots of horses on the trail and I certainly wished I was on one !

, I would of jumped at the chance of coming with you , but still got 2 more months of plaster on !

Hartington station is the best place to park - its set up for horses there. Easy to find - signposted off the A515 just after Newhaven coming towards Buxton.Grid ref 149 610.

Yup, Hartington Station. Great facilitities. Cost is £6 for the whole day (coins only).
We will probably be there on Sunday.
Depending on which way you go, there are refreshments at Tissington or at Parsley Hay.
