Hi - As per title really. Has anyone been and is it good ?

Just fancied doing something different - my bf is a novice so thought this looked quite a scenic place? Just thought it might be worth getting opinion on horses too- i.e safe?

Cheers

How weird to see this post! I am thinking of taking my daughter there over easter. Have rung this morning and no answer and their message box is full so I cant leave a message which I thought was a little strange. My friend went there a few years ago and said it was ok though the horses do change regularly but I suppose that is true of anywhere. If you go before me let me know what its like!!!

Hi there,

At last a question I can answer :) Went there with one of my kids last year sometime. It's not at all posh and we had a bit of trouble getting through on the phone like you!

They're very nice and laid back. My daughter was so excited not to be on a leadrein and they put her on a lovely pony who was very well behaved.

The ride was v scenic and all off-road too. Would go again but now we have the pone we don't need to - yay :)

Thanks muchly for the feedback. We don;t worry about posh - a nice hack on a sensible horse is what we're after.

Ref the number - theres a mobile on the website too... i rang that and the lady will call you back when near to the booking sheet.

Went about 8/9 years ago, two or three times, mixed abilities group, managed us quite well, I got a v. fun sparky pony and they managed to wander off the more inexperienced part of the group round a fairly secure looking bridlepath for part of the ride while we went for a good blast.
