I can see many a horse tanking off if they swish their tail & see that lot right behind them.

You could get a very similar result by using a couple of the battery operated Xmas lights with led lights on ( £3 each or less)in fact I was really tempted to do this last year as a festive touch.
Once I get the $100K, I d be off to Barbados, to heck with horses.Hmmm, not sure about these. Good in theory but agree with poster who said they could see a horse seriously panicking especially in high alert mode (the lights not the horse!)
Why would anyone ride in the dark on the roads in the UK unless they have a death wish. Saw somebody at 6am this week with dirty high viz and nothing reflective on her horse. Stupid!
Another point is that $7.5k has been raised so far to fund this project - a bit like Dragon's Den but the inventor needs $100,000 to make them. That said the money raised to date has only taken 2 days and there's over a month to go to raise the remainder of the capital.
I like, but far too expensive. I have some carriage lights that are very similar but were far cheaper. I and my Partner have also use battery operated Christmas lights with great results.
