to all who have / want 3.5 tonne horseboxes

we are now looking at the possibility of building 3.5 tonners for 2008 and I wondered if you guys could put forward your ideas to help us to build the very best possible vehicle on a 3.5 tonne basis.

If you have any likes, dislikes, wish it had or wish it didnt have, this would really help. Do you have a preferred chassis, would you like a side half and half ramp or full side ramp ? etc etc

If I was going to buy a 3.5 ton box I would want:
Room inside for two large native ponies.
Enough leeway on the payload weight to carry said ponies, food & water etc. without going over the maximum weight allowed.
A built in place to put the tack.
A comfortable ride for all occupants.
A ramp that can easily be let down by one person.
All academic really, as I doubt I'd ever have the money for one!

I went to see one last week - it took 2 horses, had side and rear and ramps and above the drivers seats it had been converted into a secure tack room. Was perfect for me - sadly the price wasn't
