To all you connie experts, a queston?

I have the opportunity of taking a Connie on permanent loan, now he's rising 5 yrs, 14hh, what weight would you say he could comfortably carry? I have a feeling I may be too heavy for him, so I am doing some research before I even go and see him?

I have a 14.2hh connie and weigh 10 1/2 stone which he has no probs with. I have let friends ride him, the heaviest being 12 stone and again he coped fine.
 
Build varies even in connies, & how much muscle plays a part too. At a very rough guess I would say in theory anything under 11 stone would be fine, but some 10stone maybe max, others I'm sure are perfectly fine with 12.
