Can anyone tell me the website or contact details of Millfield Stables? I have bought a lovely 10 year old broodmare who was sold by them through Tattersalls in July 2004 and I am trying to contact them to see if I can find out a little more about what happened to her from her birth in 2001 ad the sale in 2004. I do know she was born and raced in Germany as a 2 year old but I'm really trying to find out why she became a broodmare as I would like to bring her back into riding again.

Just looked on Companies house and Millfield Stables Ltd in Newmarket dissolved in Oct 2010 .... will have to try and find the breeder in Germany :-)
 
just googled..one in newmarket?..there are a few so no harm to just ring them and someone will know..also try weatherbys & racing post on line with her racing name for more info, the best person is usually the head girl/lad if not the actual lad ho cared for it..as they will have the more hands on experience of its character rather than the opinion of say secretary or trainer..and I'd have thought mon to fri will be easiest to catch someone...you'll either be met with a too busy sharp shrug or they be more than happy to help....twitter...and facebook also-there may be lads from there that you can find on a simple search & email them!good luck x

just read updated...still worth trying to find ex-lads or see if any newmarket racing yards on fb have lads that worked at millfield

perfect day for it as the snow is coming in & they'll all be keeping warm indoors!best of luck...I've had 5 out of racing & never had a bad one yet..tho mine all came from trainers I knew & trusted..& the lads all doted on them & were very grateful to know they could keep in touch...that said ALOT!x
