Hi! A couple of years ago now i tried breeding with my mare with no success, having consulted my vet at the time, it appeared that her 1 ovary had swollen to the size of a Grapefruit! Apparently, it wasn't like that when the vet 1st checked her, in fact said she had an egg just ripening, so jabbed her to bring her into season. Any thoughts on if i should try it again to see what happens, or should i leave it alone, my problem is, i don't want this ovary to flare up again and risk losing them both if baby gets trapped or something! She's never been overly mareish, in fact , we can never tell when she's in season, but boy can she flirt with the men!
