To buy a Pajero or not.......

I am considering selling my 08 Hatchback for a 1994 Pajero to allow me to tow and fit in all the associated horsey kit I seem to carry about with me.

I havent been able to find any other reasonably priced towing vehicles (which arent the size of a small family house!) but I am open to suggestions.

Any recommendations for insurance would be appreciated - so far Adrian Flux £500 and Churchill £527.
 
Yeeeeesssss! Get One! We had a short wheel base (we sold it as we got a lorry - but i miss it SOOOOO much!), they're proper work horses, but quite costly on the diesel!
I think possibly ours was insured with swinton?? Don't remember how much though!
 
My friend has a 3 door one and loves towing with it, my other friend has the 5 door and feels the same, I have a ickly suzy suky vitara with suits my needs, but I do wish I'd got something a bit more powerful
 
we had a 3door short wheel base, it was awesome!!! only sold as now have a lorry, costly on fuel for running around town, but did the job of towing our ISH and ifor william 505!! Loved it!

I have to agree with this, although our SWB was awesome, we always had the back seats down so we had more space, with the back seats up you'll be lucky if you can fit in 4 full shopping bags!
