I have just started riding my horse again after a period of time off due to myself being away at Uni and him being of lame and am currectly getting him fit but am finding he is sweating up loads recently so was going to clip him out but as he did not get clipped out at all last winder would it be better to clip him now or later being around Nov time? He usually has a full clip and does not get clipped out till later in the year but was unsure if to clip him out fully now or to do a trace or blanket clip now and possiably clip him all out around the usual time i would clip him, What do u all reckon is the best thing 2 do?

I have just clipped my mare in a trace clip as she was getting sweaty when schooling, there are also 5 horses on my yard that have been clipped out as well!!

If your horse is sweating you will certainly make him feel more comfortable when working.

Thanks yea i waz thinkin this but waz unsure as to what clip to do as im just getting him fit now so have just started my fittening programme so would say he is only in light work at the moment so was not sure if i waz to clip him out fully it mite be to much of a clip for him to start with.
