...a 23yr old horse with Cushings...that is the question.
She's hasn't got a long coat, but has been stress sweating when stabled (she hates it). It's also a nightmare to get the clay mud off her neck, with her slight Tb fluffiness.
So - to clip or not to clip?

Oooh yes - she is a very pretty horse.
I hadn't taken aesthetic aspects into consideration, foolishly concerning myself with horse welfare aspects. :p

Horse welfare aspects- that's sooo last year! It's all about the clip now! Failing that, how about an all in one lycra suit with 24/7 turnout? :D

I do own an 'all in one lycra suit' for one of my others (sweet itch suspect aka devilhorse).
She didn't like wearing it much, and her ninja/bank robber appearance made us concerned what she might get up to...

Ask her if she wants to be clipped, if she says yes, then don't forget to get her to pick out the design.

It would be terrible if you did this and she had wanted stars and comets (night sky theme) - just imagine how upset she'd be. :(

I'd have tipped her off about the deluxe horsebox down the road! ;)
