Well i have take the decision not to go on a fun ride tommora with it been so hot! Now im depressed as i had been loking forward to it ! ...would you go in this heat ? And hard ground ?
To hot for fun ride?

Depends how fit your horse is, what time you go and whether you take it easy or not. I'm stewarding at an endurance event tomorrow, so they'll all be there!

I would go - just not jump on this ground, it's too hard, but the weather isn't properly hot yet and most horses of reasonable fitness will cope well.

I'd say its too hard to jump.
If you do go on a fun ride, clip a bottle of water on your saddle and when your horse gets hot you can squirt it on his neck
Thats what we do on Endurance rides
Remember to add electrolytes in his water or in his feed if he won't drink whilst away from home
sponge off with a cooling wash after the ride
